Q: What time should my trash cart be placed by the curb for pickup?


A: It is requested that the carts are at the curb the night before in order to prevent a missed collection

 

Q:  What if my trash is NOT collected?


A:  If for any reason your trash was not collected please contact our office immediately (732) 727-0247.

 

Q: What should I do if items will NOT fit in my collection cart?


A:  We will pick up extra volumes of trash; at a nominal cost to cover the extra weight. Please notify our office in advance to schedule an extra pickup and receive additional pickup costs.

 

Q: Does the company except BULK Items?


A:  Yes, Bridge Disposal is more than happy to arrange a bulk pickup for you.  Please contact our office to schedule a pickup time and date and review pricing for Bulk Items?

        • BULK ITEMS include but are not limited to; Appliances, rugs, furniture, couches, and small pieces of equipment. 

 

Q: Is there an option to credit my account for vacation or time away?


A:  Yes, there are available options to place a hold on a service as long as the company is notified prior to you leaving and you will be away for at least 4 weeks.  Please contact us for details.

 

Q: What happens if inclement weather prevents collection on my scheduled pickup day?


A:  If our offices are closed due to weather, states of emergency or hazardous conditions trash collection will be conducted on your following scheduled pickup day.

 

Q: What is the company Holiday Schedule?


A: Recognized holidays are as follows:
        • New Years
        • Memorial Day
        • July 4th
        • Thanksgiving
        • Christmas Day

If the pickup schedule falls on a holiday; collection will continue on the following scheduled collection day. 

 

Q: What items are NOT accepted in my residential cart?


A:  Construction material, Carpeting, Hazardous Waste, Oil, Batteries, Paint, Tires, Pipes, Dirt, Rocks, Bricks, Grass, Shrubs, Branches, OR Furniture may NOT BE PLACED INTO YOUR CART(S).

 

Q: My cart is broken, cracked, dirty, or stolen.  What should I do?


A: The carts furnished by customers belong to Bridge Disposal; it is the responsibility of each customer to maintain the cleanliness of the cart and monitor that it is being used for their “personal trash service.”  Each cart is marked with an I.D. number. 
 

Cart repairs and or replacements are available through a scheduled service provided by Bridge Disposal.  Please contact our office to file a complaint and be placed on a repair/replace list.


BRIDGE DISPOSAL OWNS THESE CARTS AND YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DEFACEMENT OR LOSS OF CARTS.
